How To Install httest on Kali Linux

What is httest

httest is:

HTTP Test Tool is a script based tool for testing and benchmarking web applications, web servers, proxy servers and web browsers. htttest can emulate clients and servers even in the same test script. Emulating servers is a unique feature, very useful for testing proxy servers, web browsers and HTTP clients. The testing can match patterns in answers (both server(s) and client(s)) to test the validity.

There are three methods to install httest on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install httest Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install httest using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install httest
