How To Install holes on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install holes on Kali Linux.
What is holes
holes is:
holes looks for runs of zero bytes (a.k.a. holes) in the specified input files (or the standard input), and prints the start addresses (in hexadecimal) as well as the lengths (in decimal). When multiple input files are specified, holes prefixes each line with the file name.
It can be used with fallocate(1), truncate(1), or virt-sparsify(1).
There are three methods to install holes on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install holes Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install holes using apt-get by running the following command:
