Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install hmaccalc
on CentOS 7.
What is hmaccalc
The hmaccalc package contains tools which can calculate HMAC (hash-based message authentication code) values for files. The names and interfaces are meant to mimic the sha*sum tools provided by the coreutils package.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install hmaccalc
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install hmaccalc.
