Heimdall is a tool for flashing firmware (aka ROMs) onto Samsung Galaxy S devices over a USB connection. It accomplishes this using the same protocol as Odin, Samsung’s internal Windows-only firmware updater.
There are three methods to install heimdall-flash on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install heimdall-flash Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install heimdall-flash using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
