What is healpix-c++-devel

HEALPix is an acronym for Hierarchical Equal Area isoLatitude Pixelization of a sphere. This package contains development headers for the C++ part of HEALPix.

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install healpix-c++-devel using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install healpix-c++-devel

How To Uninstall healpix-c++-devel on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the healpix-c++-devel package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove healpix-c++-devel
