What is havp

havp is:

HAVP (HTTP Antivirus Proxy) is a proxy with a ClamAV anti-virus scanner. The main aims are continuous, non-blocking downloads and smooth scanning of dynamic and password protected HTTP traffic. Havp antivirus proxy has a parent and transparent proxy mode. It can be used with squid or standalone.

There are three methods to install havp on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install havp Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install havp using apt-get by running the following command:
