How To Install h2o-doc on Ubuntu 18.04

In this tutorial we learn how to install h2o-doc on Ubuntu 18.04.
What is h2o-doc
h2o-doc is:
H2O is a new generation HTTP server that provides quicker response to users with less CPU utilization when compared to older web servers. Designed from ground-up, the server takes full advantage of HTTP/2 features including prioritized content serving and server push.
This package contains the server documentation.
There are three methods to install h2o-doc on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install h2o-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install h2o-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install h2o-doc
Install h2o-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install h2o-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install h2o-doc
Install h2o-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install h2o-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install h2o-doc
How To Uninstall h2o-doc on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the h2o-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove h2o-doc
Uninstall h2o-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall h2o-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove h2o-doc
Remove h2o-doc Configurations and Data
To remove h2o-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge h2o-doc
Remove h2o-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove h2o-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge h2o-doc
