How To Install gxw-glade on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install gxw-glade on Kali Linux.
What is gxw-glade
gxw-glade is:
Guitarix is a rock guitar amplifier for the JACK Audio Connection Kit with one input and two outputs. It is designed to produce nice trash/metal/rock/blues guitar sounds.
Guitarix is available as a GTK+ interface and the project provides LV2 and LADSPA plugins (see the guitarix-lv2 and guitarix-ladspa packages).
This package contains Guitarix’s GTK+ library Glade support.
There are three methods to install gxw-glade on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gxw-glade Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gxw-glade using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install gxw-gladeInstall gxw-glade Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gxw-glade using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gxw-glade using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the gxw-glade package we can use the following command:

To uninstall gxw-glade and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove gxw-gladeRemove gxw-glade Configurations and Data
To remove gxw-glade configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge gxw-gladeRemove gxw-glade configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
