How To Install gwsetup on Debian 9

In this tutorial we learn how to install gwsetup on Debian 9.
What is gwsetup
gwsetup is:
Geneweb allows keeping track of ancestral data. It is a powerful system for maintaining a set of data about your family history. It supports much of the GEDCOM tag system for data storage, and can be used either as your primary system for archiving genealogical data, or as a web service (through a CGI interface) for publishing your data for others to use.
Gwsetup is a command-line program which also includes a mini web server to help Geneweb users to setup and manipulate genealogical databases to be used with the main Geneweb program.
There are three methods to install gwsetup on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gwsetup Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install gwsetup using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install gwsetup
Install gwsetup Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install gwsetup using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install gwsetup
Install gwsetup Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
