How To Install gv on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install gv on Kali Linux.
What is gv
gv is:
gv is a comfortable viewer of PostScript and PDF files for the X Window System. It uses the ghostscript PostScript interpreter and is based on the classic X front-end for gs, ghostview, which it has replaced now.
There are three methods to install gv on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gv Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gv using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install gvInstall gv Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gv using apt by running the following command:

To remove gv configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge gvRemove gv configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
