What is guava20
Guava is a suite of core and expanded libraries that include utility classes, Google’s collections, io classes, and much much more. This project is a complete packaging of all the Guava libraries into a single jar. Individual portions of Guava can be used by downloading the appropriate module and its dependencies.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install guava20
on Rocky Linux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install guava20.

Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install guava20
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install guava20
Install guava20 on Rocky Linux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install guava20
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install guava20
How To Uninstall guava20 on Rocky Linux 8
To uninstall only the guava20
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove guava20
