How To Install gtkmorph on Debian 11

on Debian 11.
What is gtkmorph
gtkmorph is:
gtkmorph loads, saves, warps, and dissolves images, and loads, saves, creates, and manipulates control meshes which determine the warping. The technique was invented and first used by Industrial Light and Magic, and is commonly called “morphing.”
gtkmorph is a GUI for libmorph, using GTK+. It has many features, as the support for making movies automatically (it needs extra packages).
There are three methods to install gtkmorph
on Debian 11. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gtkmorph Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install gtkmorph
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install gtkmorph

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install gtkmorph
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install gtkmorph
How To Uninstall gtkmorph on Debian 11
To uninstall only the gtkmorph
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove gtkmorph
Uninstall gtkmorph And Its Dependencies
To uninstall gtkmorph
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 11, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove gtkmorph
Remove gtkmorph Configurations and Data
To remove gtkmorph
configuration and data from Debian 11 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge gtkmorph
