on CentOS 7.
What is gtk+
The gtk+ package contains the GIMP ToolKit (GTK+), a library for creating graphical user interfaces for the X Window System. GTK+ was originally written for the GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) image processing program, but is now used by several other programs as well.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install gtk+
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install gtk+.
Install gtk+ on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
After updating yum database, We can install gtk+
using yum
by running the following command:
Install gtk+ on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
