How To Install gsasl-dbg on Ubuntu 18.04

What is gsasl-dbg
gsasl-dbg is:
GNU SASL is an implementation of the Simple Authentication and Security Layer framework and a few common SASL mechanisms. SASL is used by network servers (e.g., IMAP, SMTP) to request authentication from clients, and in clients to authenticate against servers.
This package contains detached debugging information. Most people will not need this package. It is provided primarily to provide a backtrace with names in a debugger, this makes it somewhat easier to interpret core dumps. GDB will find this debug information automatically.
There are three methods to install gsasl-dbg on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gsasl-dbg Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install gsasl-dbg using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install gsasl-dbg
How To Uninstall gsasl-dbg on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the gsasl-dbg package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove gsasl-dbg
Uninstall gsasl-dbg And Its Dependencies
To uninstall gsasl-dbg and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove gsasl-dbg
Remove gsasl-dbg Configurations and Data
To remove gsasl-dbg configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge gsasl-dbg

We can use the following command to remove gsasl-dbg configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
