GRUB is a portable, powerful bootloader. This version of GRUB is based on a cleaner design than its predecessors, and provides the following new features:

  • Scripting in grub.cfg using BASH-like syntax.
  • Support for modern partition maps such as GPT.
  • Modular generation of grub.cfg via update-grub. Packages providing GRUB add-ons can plug in their own script rules and trigger updates by invoking update-grub.

sudo aptitude -y install grub-coreboot

To uninstall only the grub-coreboot package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove grub-coreboot

Uninstall grub-coreboot And Its Dependencies

To uninstall grub-coreboot and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove grub-coreboot

Remove grub-coreboot Configurations and Data

To remove grub-coreboot configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge grub-coreboot

Remove grub-coreboot configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove grub-coreboot configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
