How To Install groff-base on Kali Linux

What is groff-base
groff-base is:
This package contains the traditional UN*X text formatting tools troff, nroff, tbl, eqn, and pic. These utilities, together with the man-db package, are essential for displaying the on-line manual pages.
groff-base is a stripped-down package containing the necessary components to read manual pages in ASCII, Latin-1, and UTF-8, plus the PostScript device (groff’s default). Users who want a full groff installation, with the standard set of devices, fonts, macros, and documentation, should install the groff package.
There are three methods to install groff-base on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install groff-base Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install groff-base using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install groff-baseInstall groff-base Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install groff-base using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the groff-base package we can use the following command:

To remove groff-base configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
