What is gridsite-libs

GridSite was originally a web application developed for managing and formatting the content of the http website. Over the past years it has grown into a set of extensions to the Apache web server and a toolkit for Grid credentials, GACL access control lists and HTTP(S) protocol operations. This package contains the runtime libraries.

Install gridsite-libs on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install gridsite-libs using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install gridsite-libs

Install gridsite-libs on CentOS 7 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install gridsite-libs using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install gridsite-libs

How To Uninstall gridsite-libs on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the gridsite-libs package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove gridsite-libs
