How To Install grap on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install grap on Kali Linux.
What is grap
grap is:
This is grap, an implementation of Kernighan and Bentley’s grap language for typesetting graphs. The grap preprocessor works with pic and troff (or groff).
Grap is a language for describing graphical displays of data. It provides such services as automatic scaling and labeling of axes, and for statements, if statements, and macros to facilitate user programmability. Grap is intended primarily for including graphs in documents prepared with groff or TeX, and is only marginally useful for elementary tasks in data analysis.
There are three methods to install grap on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install grap Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install grap using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install grapInstall grap Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install grap using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install grapInstall grap Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install grap using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install grapHow To Uninstall grap on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the grap package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove grapUninstall grap And Its Dependencies
To uninstall grap and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove grapRemove grap Configurations and Data
To remove grap configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge grapRemove grap configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove grap configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge grapDependencies
