What is grace

grace is:

Grace is a point-and-click tool that allows the user to draw X-Y plots. This is the program formerly known as Xmgr.

A few of its features are: User defined scaling, tick marks, labels, symbols, line styles, colors, polynomial regression, splines, running averages, DFT/FFT, cross/auto-correlation, batch mode for unattended plotting, and hardcopy support for PostScript, FrameMaker and several image formats.

There are three methods to install grace on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install grace Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install grace using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install grace

Install grace Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install grace using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install grace

Install grace Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install grace using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install grace

How To Uninstall grace on Kali Linux
