How To Install grace on Debian 10

on Debian 10.
What is grace
grace is:
Grace is a point-and-click tool that allows the user to draw X-Y plots. This is the program formerly known as Xmgr.
A few of its features are: User defined scaling, tick marks, labels, symbols, line styles, colors, polynomial regression, splines, running averages, DFT/FFT, cross/auto-correlation, batch mode for unattended plotting, and hardcopy support for PostScript, FrameMaker and several image formats.
There are three methods to install grace
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install grace Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install grace
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install grace

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install grace
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install grace
Install grace Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install grace

How To Uninstall grace on Debian 10
To uninstall only the grace
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove grace

sudo apt-get -y autoremove grace
