How To Install gpsbabel-gui on Kali Linux

What is gpsbabel-gui
gpsbabel-gui is:
GPSBabel converts waypoints, tracks, and routes from one format to another, whether that format is a common mapping format like Delorme, Streets and Trips, or even a serial upload or download to a GPS unit such as those from Garmin and Magellan.
This package contains gpsbabelfe, a QT based frontend for gpsbabel.
There are three methods to install gpsbabel-gui on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gpsbabel-gui Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gpsbabel-gui using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install gpsbabel-guiInstall gpsbabel-gui Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gpsbabel-gui using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install gpsbabel-guiInstall gpsbabel-gui Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gpsbabel-gui using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install gpsbabel-guiHow To Uninstall gpsbabel-gui on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the gpsbabel-gui package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove gpsbabel-guiUninstall gpsbabel-gui And Its Dependencies
To uninstall gpsbabel-gui and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove gpsbabel-guiRemove gpsbabel-gui Configurations and Data
To remove gpsbabel-gui configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge gpsbabel-guiRemove gpsbabel-gui configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove gpsbabel-gui configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge gpsbabel-guiDependencies
