How To Install gparted-common on Kali Linux

What is gparted-common
gparted-common is:
GParted uses libparted to detect and manipulate devices and partition tables while several (optional) filesystem tools provide support for filesystems not included in libparted.
This package contains architecture-independent data, such as documentation and help, icons, and application metadata.
There are three methods to install gparted-common on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gparted-common Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gparted-common using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the gparted-common package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove gparted-commonRemove gparted-common Configurations and Data
To remove gparted-common configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge gparted-commonRemove gparted-common configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
