How To Install gourmet on Ubuntu 18.04

gourmet is:
Gourmet Recipe Manager is a gtk-based application to store, organize and search recipes.
Features:
- Makes it easy to create shopping lists from recipes.
- Imports recipes from a number of sources, including MealMaster and MasterCook archives and several popular websites.
- Exports recipes as PDF files, plain text, MealMaster files, HTML web pages, and a custom XML format for exchange with other Gourmet users.
- Supports linking images with recipes.
- Can calculate nutritional information for recipes based on the ingredients.
There are three methods to install gourmet on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gourmet Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install gourmet using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install gourmet
Install gourmet Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install gourmet using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install gourmet
Install gourmet Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To remove gourmet configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge gourmet

We can use the following command to remove gourmet configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
