How To Install google-noto-serif-cjk-ttc-fonts on CentOS 8

What is google-noto-serif-cjk-ttc-fonts
Noto CJK fonts, supporting Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. The supported scripts are Han, Hiragana, Katakana, Hangul, and Bopomofo. Latin, Greek, Cyrllic, and various symbols are also supported for compatibility with CJK standards. The google-noto-serif-cjk-ttc-fonts package contains Serif OTC fonts.
We can use yum or dnf to install google-noto-serif-cjk-ttc-fonts on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install google-noto-serif-cjk-ttc-fonts.
Install google-noto-serif-cjk-ttc-fonts on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install google-noto-serif-cjk-ttc-fonts using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install google-noto-serif-cjk-ttc-fonts
Install google-noto-serif-cjk-ttc-fonts on CentOS 8 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install google-noto-serif-cjk-ttc-fonts using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install google-noto-serif-cjk-ttc-fonts
How To Uninstall google-noto-serif-cjk-ttc-fonts on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the google-noto-serif-cjk-ttc-fonts package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove google-noto-serif-cjk-ttc-fonts
