What is goocanvas-devel
GooCanvas is a new canvas widget for GTK+ that uses the cairo 2D library for drawing. It has a model/view split, and uses interfaces for canvas items and views, so you can easily turn any application object into canvas items. These are the files used for development.
We can use yum or dnf to install goocanvas-devel on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install goocanvas-devel.
Install goocanvas-devel on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install goocanvas-devel using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install goocanvas-devel
Install goocanvas-devel on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install goocanvas-devel using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install goocanvas-devel
How To Uninstall goocanvas-devel on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the goocanvas-devel package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove goocanvas-devel
