In this tutorial we learn how to install gobject-introspection
on CentOS 7.
What is gobject-introspection
GObject Introspection can scan C header and source files in order to generate introspection “typelib” files. It also provides an API to examine typelib files, useful for creating language bindings among other things.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install gobject-introspection
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install gobject-introspection.
Install gobject-introspection on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
