What is gnusim8085
GNUSim8085 is a graphical simulator for Intel 8085 microprocessor assembly language. It has some very nice features including a keypad which can be used to write assembly language programs with much ease. It also has stack, memory and port viewers which can be used for debugging the programs.
We can use yum or dnf to install gnusim8085 on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install gnusim8085.
Install gnusim8085 on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install gnusim8085 using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install gnusim8085
Install gnusim8085 on CentOS 8 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install gnusim8085 using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install gnusim8085
How To Uninstall gnusim8085 on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the gnusim8085 package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove gnusim8085
