Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install gnuradio
on CentOS 7.
What is gnuradio
GNU Radio is a collection of software that when combined with minimal hardware, allows the construction of radios where the actual waveforms transmitted and received are defined by software. What this means is that it turns the digital modulation schemes used in today’s high performance wireless devices into software problems.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install gnuradio
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install gnuradio.

Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
After updating yum database, We can install gnuradio
using yum
