How To Install gnumed-client on Debian 12

What is gnumed-client
gnumed-client is:
This is the GNUmed Electronic Medical Record. Its purpose is to enable doctors to keep a medically sound record on their patients’ health. It does not currently provide functionality for stock keeping. Clinical features are well-tested by real doctors in the field.
While the GNUmed team has taken the utmost care to make sure the medical records are safe at all times you still need to make sure you are taking appropriate steps to backup the medical data to a safe place at appropriate intervals. Do not forget to test your recovery procedures, too !

This package contains the wxpython client.
There are three methods to install gnumed-client on Debian 12. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gnumed-client Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install gnumed-client using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install gnumed-client
Install gnumed-client Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install gnumed-client using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install gnumed-client
Install gnumed-client Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install gnumed-client using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install gnumed-client
How To Uninstall gnumed-client on Debian 12
To uninstall only the gnumed-client package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove gnumed-client
Uninstall gnumed-client And Its Dependencies
To uninstall gnumed-client and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove gnumed-client
Remove gnumed-client Configurations and Data
To remove gnumed-client configuration and data from Debian 12 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge gnumed-client
Remove gnumed-client configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove gnumed-client configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge gnumed-client
