How To Install gnokii-smsd on Kali Linux

What is gnokii-smsd
gnokii-smsd is:
Gnokii is a suite of programs that allows communication with mobile phones. It currently supports many Nokia mobile phones, all AT capable ones as well as many Symbian based. For a list of compatible phones, please visit: http://wiki.gnokii.org
The SMSD (SMS daemon) handles automated sending and receiving of short messages using a storage backend. It is designed to use modules (plugins) to work with different backends, and shares Gnokii’s runtime configuration and libraries.
This package contains the actual daemon and a file based backend. You will need to install the appropriate module packages to add support for other backends.
There are three methods to install gnokii-smsd on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gnokii-smsd Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gnokii-smsd using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install gnokii-smsdInstall gnokii-smsd Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gnokii-smsd using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install gnokii-smsdInstall gnokii-smsd Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To remove gnokii-smsd configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
