How To Install glpk-doc on Ubuntu 18.04

What is glpk-doc
glpk-doc is:
GLPK (GNU Linear Programming Kit) is intended for solving large-scale linear programming (LP), mixed integer programming (MIP), and other related problems. It is a set of routines written in ANSI C and organized in the form of a callable library.
This package contains the C API reference manual and the GNU MathProg modeling language manual.
There are three methods to install glpk-doc on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install glpk-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install glpk-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install glpk-doc

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install glpk-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install glpk-doc
Install glpk-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install glpk-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install glpk-doc
How To Uninstall glpk-doc on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the glpk-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove glpk-doc
Uninstall glpk-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall glpk-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove glpk-doc
Remove glpk-doc Configurations and Data
To remove glpk-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge glpk-doc
Remove glpk-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove glpk-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge glpk-doc
