What is glom-doc
glom-doc is:
With Glom you can design table definitions and the relationships between them, plus arrange the fields on the screen. You can edit and search the data in those tables, and specify field values in terms of other fields. It’s as easy as it should be.
The design is loosely based on FileMaker Pro, with the added advantage of separation between interface and data. Its simple framework should be enough to implement most database applications. Without Glom these systems normally consist of lots of repetitive, unmaintainable code.

There are three methods to install glom-doc
on Debian 11. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install glom-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install glom-doc
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install glom-doc

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install glom-doc
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install glom-doc
Install glom-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install glom-doc
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install glom-doc
How To Uninstall glom-doc on Debian 11
To uninstall only the glom-doc
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove glom-doc
Uninstall glom-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall glom-doc
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 11, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove glom-doc
