How To Install gkrellkam on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install gkrellkam on Kali Linux.
What is gkrellkam
gkrellkam is:
GKrellKam is basically wmGrabImage in a GKrellM panel, except that it is more flexible (you can specify a local or remote image, or a list of local or remote images, or a script that outputs the right image, etc). The image (any format or size) is resized to a thumbnail and placed in a GKrellM panel, where it is updated periodically. Multiple images are rotated.
This plugin is useful for keeping track of webcams, weather maps, or any other kind of changing image information.
There are three methods to install gkrellkam on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gkrellkam Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gkrellkam using apt-get by running the following command:

To uninstall only the gkrellkam package we can use the following command:

To uninstall gkrellkam and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove gkrellkamRemove gkrellkam Configurations and Data
To remove gkrellkam configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge gkrellkamRemove gkrellkam configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
