on CentOS 7.
What is gitstats
GitStats is a statistics generator for git (a distributed revision control system) repositories. It examines the repository and produces some interesting statistics from the history of it. Currently HTML is the only output format.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install gitstats
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install gitstats.
Install gitstats on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
After updating yum database, We can install gitstats
using yum
by running the following command:
