How To Install gis-web on Debian 10

In this tutorial we learn how to install gis-web
on Debian 10.
What is gis-web
gis-web is:
Debian packages which are dealing with geographical information to be presented for the web on so called map tile servers. These are pretty useful when trying to setup an OpenStreetMap tile server but not restricted to OpenStreetMap data only.
There are three methods to install gis-web
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gis-web Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install gis-web
using apt-get
