In this tutorial we learn how to install ginac-utils
on CentOS 7.
What is ginac-utils
This package includes ginsh (“GiNaC interactive shell”) which provides a simple and easy-to-use CAS-like interface to GiNaC for non-programmers, and the tool “viewgar” which displays the contents of GiNaC archives.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install ginac-utils
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install ginac-utils.
Install ginac-utils on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
After updating yum database, We can install ginac-utils
using yum
