How To Install ginac-tools on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install ginac-tools on Kali Linux.
What is ginac-tools
ginac-tools is:
GiNaC (which stands for “GiNaC is Not a CAS (Computer Algebra System)”) is a library for doing symbolic (i.e. non-numeric) computation directly in the C++ programming language.
This package provides some additional tools, like the popular ginsh (GiNaC interactive shell) and viewgar (for inspecting GiNaC archive files).
There are three methods to install ginac-tools on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ginac-tools Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ginac-tools using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ginac-toolsInstall ginac-tools Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ginac-tools using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ginac-tools using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the ginac-tools package we can use the following command:
