What is ghc-haskell-src-exts
Haskell-Source with Extensions is an extension of the standard haskell-src package, and handles most registered syntactic extensions to Haskell, including * Multi-parameter type classes with functional dependencies * Indexed type families (including associated types) * Empty data declarations * GADTs * Implicit parameters * Template Haskell and a few more. All extensions implemented in GHC are supported. Apart from these standard extensions, it also handles regular patterns as per the HaRP extension as well as HSX-style embedded XML syntax.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install ghc-haskell-src-exts

Install ghc-haskell-src-exts on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install ghc-haskell-src-exts
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install ghc-haskell-src-exts
Install ghc-haskell-src-exts on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install ghc-haskell-src-exts
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install ghc-haskell-src-exts
How To Uninstall ghc-haskell-src-exts on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the ghc-haskell-src-exts
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove ghc-haskell-src-exts
