How To Install ghc-doc on Kali Linux

What is ghc-doc

The Glorious Glasgow Haskell Compilation system (GHC) is a compiler for Haskell.
Haskell is “the” standard lazy functional programming language. The language definition and additional documentation can be found in the `haskell-doc' package. Alternatively, there is an online version at http://haskell.org/onlinereport/.
This package includes HTML, DVI and PS versions of the SGML-based documentation around GHC.
There are three methods to install ghc-doc on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ghc-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ghc-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ghc-docInstall ghc-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ghc-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ghc-docInstall ghc-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install ghc-doc using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the ghc-doc package we can use the following command:

To uninstall ghc-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ghc-docRemove ghc-doc Configurations and Data
To remove ghc-doc configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ghc-docRemove ghc-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
