What is ghc-blaze-builder
This library provides an abstraction of buffered output of byte streams and several convenience functions to exploit it. For example, it allows to efficiently serialize Haskell values to lazy bytestrings with a large average chunk size. The large average chunk size allows to make good use of cache prefetching in later processing steps (e.g. compression) and reduces the system call overhead when writing the resulting lazy bytestring to a file or sending it over the network.
We can use yum or dnf to install ghc-blaze-builder on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install ghc-blaze-builder.
Install ghc-blaze-builder on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install ghc-blaze-builder using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install ghc-blaze-builder
Install ghc-blaze-builder on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install ghc-blaze-builder using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install ghc-blaze-builder
How To Uninstall ghc-blaze-builder on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the ghc-blaze-builder package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove ghc-blaze-builder
