getstream is:

getstream is a small utility which is able to pull a MPEG transport stream from a DVB card and stream it to the local area network. It is written to replace VLC, and uses much less CPU and memory than VLC.

There are three methods to install getstream on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install getstream Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install getstream using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install getstream

Install getstream Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install getstream using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install getstream

Install getstream Using aptitude
