What is geronimo-jpa
The Java Persistence API is a new programming model under EJB 3.0 specification (JSR220) for the management of persistence and object/relational mapping with Java EE and Java SE. Geronimo JPA is one implementation of this specification.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install geronimo-jpa
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install geronimo-jpa.
Install geronimo-jpa on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
After updating yum database, We can install geronimo-jpa
using yum
by running the following command:

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
