What is geocode-glib
geocode-glib is a convenience library for the geocoding (finding longitude, and latitude from an address) and reverse geocoding (finding an address from coordinates). It uses Nominatim service to achieve that. We can use yum
or dnf
to install geocode-glib
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install geocode-glib.
Install geocode-glib on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
After updating yum database, We can install geocode-glib
using yum
