How To Install genext2fs on Kali Linux

Introduction

What is genext2fs

genext2fs is:

genext2fs is meant to generate an ext2 filesystem as a normal (non-root) user. It doesn’t require you to mount the image file to copy files on it. It doesn’t even require you to be the superuser to make device nodes.

There are three methods to install genext2fs on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
