What is geneweb-gui
geneweb-gui is:
Geneweb allows keeping track of ancestral data. It is a powerful system for maintaining a set of data about your family history. It supports much of the GEDCOM tag system for data storage, and can be used either as your primary system for archiving genealogical data, or as a web service (through a CGI interface) for publishing your data for others to use.
This package provides a graphical interface to geneweb (assuming the database is hosted on the local machine).
There are three methods to install geneweb-gui
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get

and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install geneweb-gui Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install geneweb-gui
using apt-get

using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install geneweb-gui

Install geneweb-gui Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install geneweb-gui
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install geneweb-gui
How To Uninstall geneweb-gui on Debian 10
To uninstall only the geneweb-gui
