How To Install gearhead on Debian 9

In this tutorial we learn how to install gearhead
on Debian 9.
What is gearhead
gearhead is:
A century and a half ago the Earth was nearly destroyed by nuclear war. Now, a federation of free city-states has begun to restore civilization. However, there are forces operating in the darkness which will unleash the horrors of the past age in a bid to determine the future of the human race.

This is the console version. For graphics, use gearhead-sdl instead.
There are three methods to install gearhead
on Debian 9. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gearhead Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install gearhead
using apt-get

How To Uninstall gearhead on Debian 9
