How To Install gcovr on Kali Linux

What is gcovr
gcovr is:
The gcovr command provides a utility for running the gcov command and summarizing code coverage results. This command is inspired by the Python coverage.py package, which provides a similar utility in Python. Further, gcovr can be viewed as a command-line alternative of the lcov utility, which runs gcov and generates an HTML output.
There are three methods to install gcovr on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gcovr Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gcovr using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install gcovrInstall gcovr Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gcovr using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To remove gcovr configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
