How To Install gbemol on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install gbemol on Kali Linux.
What is gbemol
gbemol is:
gbemol allows you to use MPD with a userfriendly interface. Features include an easy-to-use, tag-oriented library browser, a two mode playlist, cover art support (APIC tag only, for now), system tray icon docking, song, album and artist information.
Music Player Daemon is a server that allows remote access for playing audio files, streams and managing playlists. The daemon is controlled through a client which need not run on the same computer mpd runs on.
There are three methods to install gbemol on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gbemol Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gbemol using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install gbemolInstall gbemol Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install gbemol using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the gbemol package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove gbemolUninstall gbemol And Its Dependencies
To uninstall gbemol and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove gbemolRemove gbemol Configurations and Data
To remove gbemol configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge gbemolRemove gbemol configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
