How To Install gammaray on Ubuntu 20.04

on Ubuntu 20.04.
What is gammaray
gammaray is:
GammaRay is a tool for examining the internals of a Qt application and to some extent also manipulate it. GammaRay uses injection methods to hook into an application at runtime and provide access to a wide variety of interesting information. It provides easy ways of navigating through the complex internal structures you find in some Qt frameworks, such as QGraphicsView, model/view, QTextDocument, state machines and more.
There are three methods to install gammaray
on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install gammaray Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install gammaray
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install gammaray
Install gammaray Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install gammaray
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install gammaray
Install gammaray Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install gammaray
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install gammaray
How To Uninstall gammaray on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the gammaray
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove gammaray
Uninstall gammaray And Its Dependencies
To uninstall gammaray
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove gammaray
Remove gammaray Configurations and Data
To remove gammaray
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge gammaray
Remove gammaray configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove gammaray
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
