How To Install fwbuilder on Kali Linux

What is fwbuilder
fwbuilder is:
Firewall Builder consists of an object-oriented GUI and a set of policy compilers for various firewall platforms. In Firewall Builder, firewall policy is a set of rules, each rule consists of abstract objects which represent real network objects and services (hosts, routers, firewalls, networks, protocols). Firewall Builder helps the user maintain a database of objects and allows policy editing using simple drag-and-drop operations.
This is the GUI part of fwbuilder
There are three methods to install fwbuilder on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install fwbuilder Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fwbuilder using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install fwbuilderInstall fwbuilder Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fwbuilder using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install fwbuilderInstall fwbuilder Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fwbuilder using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install fwbuilderHow To Uninstall fwbuilder on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the fwbuilder package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove fwbuilderUninstall fwbuilder And Its Dependencies
To uninstall fwbuilder and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove fwbuilderRemove fwbuilder Configurations and Data
To remove fwbuilder configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
